Services - Overview
HighPointTrade acts as an application service provider for TradePoint, a direct-access system. Specifically:
- We partner with
world-class hosting and network providers to provide a reliable and scalable technology base from which we
operate a direct-access trading system.
- We provide back-office support to:
- assist the broker-dealer in administering the trading system - creating accounts, logins, setting commissions, etc.
- report the trades to each broker-dealers clearing house. If we are not currently working with a particular clearing house we will gladly add them.
- Perform OATS reporting.

For the broker-dealer we have eliminated the upfront and on-going costs of operating a direct-access trading system.
