HighPointTrade.com is a direct access trading system provider for institutional broker-dealers. We offer a customizable order entry and order management system. Our systems are all FIX compliant and are able to take orders via FIX from third-party order management systems.

HighPointTrade.com is dedicated to serving the needs of independent (sell-side) broker-dealers, providing superior direct-access trading software and services. Our business model is to work for our client broker-dealers instead of competing with them as others in this market do.

HighPointTrade.com founders combine years of expertise in professional trading, market-making, brokerage and exchange floor positions, and most importantly information technology. Our professional systems development staff average over fifteen years of experience building real-world systems for commercial and government clients. Together, we have pooled our talent in the trading and technology domains to offer products and services to this exciting field.

HighPointTrade.com is not a broker-dealer and will not compete with our client broker-dealers for the buy-side trading business. Instead, we act as a service bureau, offering a direct-access trading platform that is configurable so that our client (the broker-dealer) can offer a range of products to their clients which can include:

The Problem We Solve -

The direct-access trading market is seeing rapid growth as phone calls to sell side desks are being replaced by hands on traders. Many of the biggest names in this space play a dual role, system provider and broker-dealer. These vendors are not primarily a software company, they are first and foremost a broker-dealer, looking to build their own business. The independent broker-dealer is at a disadvantage due to the high cost of developing and operating a direct-access trading system. When a broker-dealer uses a system owned and operated by another broker-dealer he is at risk in several areas - high cost, no control or even influence over the software, poor service, and loss of fund managers and traders to the vendor of his trading system.

HighPointTrade.com is first, foremost, and only a software technology firm. We develop and operate direct-access trading systems for our client broker-dealers. We will adapt the system and our operational procedures to meet the needs of our clients. We enable the independent broker-dealer to support remote fund managers and traders. Finally our product integrates with portfolio and order management systems used by institutions.

For large clients we offer private labeling and customized versions of our order management system.
